Ashley's left home.......

I said goodbye to this old guy yesterday as he is now on his way to Texas to a lady who is a devoted animal rescuer - goodonya I say!!
Oh it is a bit of a steamer today at 38 degrees and a hot wind blowing a little unusual and above average for this time of the year, Spring!! Not good for making bears or for that matter anything else!

We are on our way.......

I said goodbye to more bears yesterday - always have a little sad moment when I pack them off on their long journey and keep fingers crossed that they arrive safely!
Spring is certainly turning into a very warm one and we did get some rain but not very much and hardly noticeable!
I think I may have had a touch of food poisoning last week - couldn't keep anything down for about 2 days - felt really yuck!! It was either some Sushi that I had eaten or a coffee made with milk instead of soy. At the time I was trying a new coffee place in town and said to hubby that I thought the coffee wasn't right but couldn't be sure.
I'll ramble off now.......

Spring has sprung.......

Spring has sprung and it is looking like it is going to be hot one! Even the bush fires have started in a few areas down near to Sydney - think we are going to be in for a long hot Summer. Still very busy at bear central and I've been having fun and games with the dye pots!! I even managed to dye a couple of my sweaters with a few nicely decorative spots!!

Miss Amy is loving all this nice heat and spends most of her days outside soaking up those sun rays - we have to slip, slap and slop with the doggie sun block - otherwise we just might end up with a sizzled sausage!! I am forever chasing her back inside even though I get the daggers and 'we are not amused' looks - the things I have to put up with but it's for her own good! Miss Millie is much wiser and stays inside - much cooler - but then she can be such a goody two shoes when she thinks it is to her advantage LOL!!

I took some pics looking out over the garden and the Brimbin Forest reserve which more or less is my back yard as it is only at the end of my street.
