Flying in........

Flying in today or I should say getting blown in today into the bears departure lounge is WILKINS who fancies himself as an old fashion flyboy - must admit he does look pretty handsome in that outfit:o))
He is available for adoption and you can find him on my web site and

Aunt Tiggy.......

I have finally come up for air after being buried in mohair as I have been quite busy with orders phew!! So, today ready and waiting in the bears departure lounge is Aunt Tiggy in all her finery! I hand knitted the shawl and hat from a lovely hand dyed artisan yarn of Australian Merino wool - so nice to work with:o)

Special Bears.....

I thought I would just show off 2 special bears Peru and Aunt Lucy who will soon be on their way over to Tassie (Tasmania) to a lady who can't wait to get her hands on them!
At least they will be nice and warm as it gets a bit chilly in Tassie especially now as we roll into Autumn.

A special bear.......

I thought I would share with you a special bear called 'Soldier Boy' that I was ask to make for a lady who's hubby is a captain in the Australian army - she is over the moon with him though at the moment he sits and waits in the bears departure lounge as I now have to make a vintage style girly bear along the lines of an officers wife who gets all poshed up for dinner events! Going to have fun with this one and I've got it all worked out as to what I am going to do! Well Anne did say I was to surprise her:o))

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!........

I didn't really switch off over the holiday season as thoughts and idea's whizz around in my head for the bears at Brimbin Forest - looking forward to putting them all into practice:o))

I had to give poor Millie a good hair cut as she has been suffering from the heat - even our sun worshiping Amy is finding it a bit too much. Most days it has been in the high 30's degrees with a couple of days hitting 42 and 44 degrees!!
Millie's hair cut is not very flattering and makes her look like a little old lady which I suppose she is really as she will be 12 years old come April.
