Beach walk......

Took time out to have a very enjoyable walk on the beach with hubby and the dogs. I took up my usual pose of head down and scanning the sand for shells, pebbles and anything else of interest. The dogs love joining in too!
We've had some really bad storms recently so there was a lot of seaweed washed up along with shells, coral and sea sponges. Even found a small live Octopus which we put back into the sea. 
I think this pastime is called Beach Combing and we got chatting to a local who was doing the same as us - we were discussing the things we had found over the years.
Had a good find in 2 near perfect huge shells and couldn't resist doing a very small happy dance LOL!! Found a few other nice shells and some pieces of coral too.
